Originally an artist working in metal and jewelry, George took several years of glass classes at Northern Arizona University, followed by study and work at the summer Vail Art Workshops in Vail, CO and the Penland School of Crafts in NC. Prior to opening his own studio, Fire on the Mountain, in Flagstaff, his experience included Fineline Studios in Breckenridge, CO and the Santa Fe Glass Studio, Santa Fe, NM. His work is currently exhibited in several galleries throughout Arizona, including the Fire on the Mountain Gallery in Flagstaff, the Sedona Center for the Arts, the Phoenix Art Museum store, the Lowell Observatory Starry Sky Shop, and the Grand Canyon Association store.
