Paul Kaiser and Susan Herman met in Vail Colorado. Susan was managing a jewelry store, Gore Creek Gold and Paul owned The Jewelry Works.
Susan, originally from Duluth Minnesota moved to Vail in 1987. She fell in love with the Rocky Mountains after a Colorado trip with her parents.
Paul, originally from New Holland Pennsylvania moved to California where he graduated from Gemological Institute of America. He moved to Vail in 1982 to enjoy both the winter and summer outdoor activities.
In 1991 they moved to Sedona Arizona to be closer to their parents who lived in the Phoenix area. Susan landed a job in another jewelry store and Paul started working at a bronze foundry. In the evenings and weekends they created jewelry in their converted Arizona room. They went to art festival shows on the weekends and sold their jewelry.
Today they work out of a building in West Sedona, making jewelry inspired by the wonders of Sedona.
