Description
Cathedral Rock Reflection
This photo was shot in February, 2019 at Crescent Moon Ranch following a one inch rainfall. Shown in the image are Cathedral Rock, reportedly the second most photographed location in Arizona after the Grand Canyon, and two ranch buildings on the left. The left most building was constructed in 1937 and is next to a water wheel. The water wheel was used to generate electricty for the ranch. The water for the wheel was diverted from Oak Creek and no longer flows. The water was also used to irrigate the ranches orchards and fields.
