Merry Go Round Arch

This photo of Mitten Ridge was taken inside of a small arch on Merry Go Round Rock. Getting to the inside of the arch is not for the faint of heart as you need to traverse a short section of the slanted exposed slickrock seen in the image. A 45-minute drive up the 4×4 Schnebly Hill Roads is needed to get to Merry Go Round. Pink Jeep offers frequent tours to Merry Go Round. Merry Go Round Rock (aka Marry Go Round) has become a popular spot for wedding photographs with the couple standing on the outcrop seen just behind the bush, and the photographer inside the arch.
