Description
The Zuni pueblo is located 150 miles west of Alburquerque. The pueblo was first visited by the Speniah in 1539 by a party of explorers lead by Friar Moses de Marcas and a year later by Franscico Coronada. The mission of the church of Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe was conctructed in 16296.
Zuni artistans are worls famous for their fine pottery, intricate jewelry designs, and stone fetish carvings.
